Sarasota Bridal Pricing

How Much Does Wedding Hair & Makeup Cost in Sarasota?

Anie's actual 2026 price list, laid out in full: what the bride, the bridal party, previews, travel and deposits really run, with the arithmetic shown so you can price your own day.

The Short Answer

There is no single number, and anyone who gives you one is guessing

Bridal hair and makeup is priced per person and per service here, not as a flat "wedding package," because a bridal morning in Sarasota might mean one bride getting ready alone in a hotel room, or a bride and nine other women getting ready across a house. Add in travel from Downtown Sarasota, an early call time, and how many of those people want hair as well as makeup, and two weddings booked the same week can land at very different totals. What follows is what Anie actually charges for each piece, so you can build your own number instead of trusting a national average that has nothing to do with this market.

The Bridal Party

Per-person pricing, and how six or more changes it

Everyone getting makeup done is billed individually. There is no minimum party size and no minimum booking total, so a bride who only wants herself done is exactly as easy to book as one bringing eight bridesmaids.

Bridesmaid Makeup

$150 / person
  • $120 per person once six or more people are receiving makeup
  • Once the count reaches six, all six, and anyone beyond: are billed at $120, mothers included
  • The bride does not count toward the six; she books Bridal Makeup separately at $200

Mother of the Bride / Groom Makeup

$150
  • A separate menu line, priced the same as bridesmaid makeup
  • Counts toward the six-person threshold like anyone else
  • Billed at $120 once the group reaches six or more

Before The Day

The preview: what it costs and why it is worth booking

A preview means you already know you love the look before your wedding morning, instead of finding out for the first time with a photographer standing there. It is optional on every package except the Signature Bridal Experience, where it is already built in.

Preview Pricing

Makeup Preview, wedding date booked with Anie$150
Makeup Preview, no date booked yet$175
Hair Trial / Preview$100–$125

The hair trial's exact price depends on the style being previewed. A preview is not bundled into Bridal Makeup, Bridal Hair or Bridal Hair + Makeup. It is priced and booked on its own with any of those.

What Changes The Number

Travel, timing and the other lines on a quote

Two brides booking the same package can still end up with different totals. Here is what moves the number, and by how much.

Travel

  • The first 5 miles from Downtown Sarasota are included
  • $2 per mile after that, one way, rounded up to the whole mile
  • Beyond 80 miles, the trip is discussed and quoted individually: flights, overnight stays and similar
  • Parking, tolls and venue access fees are billed on to you where they apply

Timing & Extras

  • Any start time before 7:00 AM adds a $50 early-start fee
  • A larger bridal party means more line items, but also the $120 group rate once you reach six
  • Additional wedding-day touch-up coverage beyond what is included is $80 per hour
  • Extensions are quoted individually: contact Anie for pricing

Bridal Party Hair, By Style

Curls / Waves$100
Sleek Bun$100
Ponytail$120
Half-Up / Half-Down$120
Updo$150
Hollywood Glam$175–$200

Bridal party hair is booked off this same menu, per person, by style. There is no flat per-person party-hair rate, and hair length or thickness is what usually moves someone from a curls-and-waves style into updo or Hollywood Glam territory.

Holding Your Date

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is what actually holds your date, not a conversation, not a tentative hold, a deposit. It is calculated off the services subtotal only; travel is deposited separately, on top of it.

Deposit Structure

Services subtotal under $65040%
Services subtotal $650 or more30%
Travel fee, on top of the service deposit50%

The remaining balance is due on the day, before services begin. You are welcome to pay it in full ahead of time if you would rather have it settled.

Real Numbers

Three quotes, added up

Here is the arithmetic behind three common bookings, built from the prices above. Travel and an early-start fee are not included below since they depend on your venue and call time, add them once you know yours.

Bride Only, Hair & Makeup

Bridal Makeup$200
Bridal Hair, starting at$150
Services subtotal, starting at$350
Deposit: 40%, under $650$140

Bride + 4 Bridesmaids, Makeup Only

Bridal Makeup (bride)$200
Bridesmaid Makeup × 4, at $150 each$600
Services subtotal$800
Deposit: 30%, $650 or more$240

Bride (Hair & Makeup) + Full 6-Person Party

Bridal Makeup (bride)$200
Bridal Hair (bride), starting at$150
Bridal party makeup × 6, group rate at $120 each$720
Services subtotal, starting at$1,070
Deposit: 30%, at least$321

The six-person group rate applies once six people total are having makeup done. It does not have to be six bridesmaids; mothers and flower girls count too. For anything more specific than these three, request a quote for your own party.

Pricing Questions, Answered

How much does bridal makeup cost in Sarasota?
Bridal Makeup on its own is $200. Bridal Hair starts at $150, and Bridal Hair + Makeup together starts at $350. The Signature Bridal Experience, which adds both previews and an hour of wedding-day touch-up coverage, is $650.
Do bridesmaids get a discount for a bigger group?
Yes. Bridesmaid makeup is $150 per person until the group reaches six people receiving makeup, and $120 per person once it does - including Mothers of the Bride and Groom. The bride does not count toward that six; she books Bridal Makeup separately at $200.
Is a makeup trial required, and what does it cost?
It's optional but recommended. A Makeup Preview is $150 once your wedding date is booked with Anie, or $175 booked on its own. A Hair Trial runs $100-$125 depending on the style. Neither is included in a package except the Signature Bridal Experience.
Does the price change if my venue is far from Sarasota?
Travel is billed separately from the service price: the first 5 miles from Downtown Sarasota are included, then $2 per mile, one way, rounded up to the whole mile. Beyond 80 miles, the trip is quoted individually.
How much is the deposit to hold my date?
A non-refundable deposit confirms your date: 40% of the services subtotal under $650, or 30% once it reaches $650 or more. Half of any travel fee is deposited on top, and the balance is due on the day, before services begin.
